Banyan Tree currently has seven properties in China, in Hangzhou, Tianjin, Shanghai, Sanya, Macau, Lijiang and Ringa, Yunnan province. But this portfolio is expected to expand to more than 20 properties in the next few years with openings planned across the country, including a second property in Chongqing.
