Front Office Manager

Our client a 5* luxury resort is looking for a Front Office Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything he/she does. Resort is located at Koh Samui, Thailand and belongs to a worldwide chain. Thai candidates are highly preferred.

Major responsibilities:-

  • To ensure that Legendary Quality Experience are fully implemented, maintained and exceeded throughout Front Office to reach guest satisfaction
  • To monitor service delivery by implementing SOP and action plans to meet and exceed our guests’ expectations
  • To monitor the successful implementation of the Departmental Training in Front Office, encouraging employee development and promoting a positive working environment
  • To encourage efficient and effective inter-departmental communication in order to promote teamwork
  • To liase with the Sales team and the Director of Rooms Division to determine the yield strategy for the hotel, ensuring full knowledge is gained by the Reception team
  • To monitor the correct billing of revenues, cash control, float balances and credit balances of guest in-house
  • To handle the SMS Front Office system; ensuring correct data inputting and maintenance, to liaise with IT&T to control access levels, to issue passwords and to change configurations
  • To ensure that hotel grooming and appearance standards are maintained to demonstrate a professional image to guests
  • To oversee all arrivals, departures, room allocations and VIP amenities, ensuring accurate information is communicated to the front office team relating to any upcoming special requirements
  • To support the front desk during busy check-in and check-out times, ensuring personalised and professional service delivery to our guests at all times
  • To ensure management presence in the lobby in order to build positive relations with our guests by encouraging their feedback and to provide effective support to our team

Qualifications and Requirements:-

  • Thai nationality.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in hotel management or relevant.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in Front Office Department.
  • A hands-on professional with a solid front office background and excellent guest relations.
  • Result oriented and ability to lead and motivate the team.
  • Communicate Fluently in English and strong computer skills.
  • Possess good leadership skills.
  • Good communication skill and interpersonal skills.
