The Six Senses Hua Hin and Evason Hua Hin resorts in Thailand will be merged to create a single property.
The new resort, which will be called the Evason Hua Hin, will feature a combined total of 425 rooms and pool villas plus five food and beverage outlets, eight tennis courts and other facilities.
The merged property will also now undergo a THB20 million (US$676,000) renovation, including the addition of new televisions in the guest rooms and a gymnasium.
“This is a very positive step forward”, said Alan Thomas, the resort’s managing director. “Streamlining the offering to consumers and trade will remove some confusion that has existed in the past. Presenting the property as one entity will mean that we have one Web site offering eight room and villa types, rather than two sites offering four accommodation types on each”.
As an Evason-branded property, the merged property joins the Evason Ma’In Hot Springs in Jordan and Evason Ana Mandara in Nha Trang, Vietnam, in the company’s global portfolio.
