New World Hospitality has completed a major revamp of its hotels in Manila, Shanghai and Dalian.
A US$72 million renovation programme has seen guest rooms redesigned and new facilities created, with Asian-influenced themes. The New World Makati Hotel in Manila has been extensively renovated, with a new-look lobby and lounge, and the addition of new executive club floors, plus new function and event spaces.
The new Gallery and Glasshouse event rooms both feature kitchens for residential-style meeting groups, while the ballroom has been renovated with new audio-visual systems.
At the New World Shanghai Hotel, the lobby lounge has been renovated, along with the café and club floor rooms. The lobby lounge now features eight-metre floor-to-ceiling windows, while the revamped Nong Café is designed as a self-service market-style cafe with open kitchen stations and food counters. The club floor rooms have been equipped with new furniture, lighting and bathrooms.
The hotel’s executive club lounge is still undergoing renovation, with completion expected by the end of March 2013.
Finally in Dalian, the New World Dalian Hotel now features a new meeting space and executive lounge. The 300m² Liaoning Room offers space for banquets, meetings and corporate events with up to 90 guests. It features a reception area and foyer, break-out room, relaxation room with sofas and TV, plus an F&B area. The 22nd floor executive lounge has been redesigned with new, modern furnishings.
