Regent Hotels & Resorts will debut in Bali later this year, with the launch of an all-suite beachfront resort in the Sanur area of the island.
Opening in June 2013, Regent Bali will feature 95 suites set among four hectares of gardens. The rooms range from the 90m² Deluxe Suites to the 181m² Premier Spa Suites, which include separate spa treatment rooms. There is also a 937m² Regent Villa – a two-bedroom beachfront unit featuring a private pool, jacuzzi, spa treatment room and steam room. The property will also house 25 private residences, ranging from 308-660m².
“Regent Bali embodies the new direction and philosophy of our company,” said Ralf Ohletz, president of Regent Hotels & Resorts. “We are committed to creating bespoke luxury lifestyle destinations, offering exceptional service and unique facilities as well as exclusive residential properties. Regent Bali will be a flagship property for the brand.”
Regent Bali will also feature a beach club concept, a restaurant and pool terrace, while leisure facilities will include a 55-metre infinity-edged swimming pool, fitness centre and an 810m² spa.
The move into Bali will mark Regent’s second Asian resort, following the Regent Phuket Cape Panwa, which opened earlier this year. The company also operates properties in Beijing, Singapore and Taipei.
