Grand Mercure Beijing Dongcheng has opened in the heart of the Chinese capital, catering specifically for the needs of Chinese travellers.
This is the second Grand Mercure hotel to open in Beijing after Grand Mercure Beijing Central and 14th member in the brand’s network in Greater China.
The hotel features 202 rooms and suites, with facilities including flat screen LED TV, a mini bar and high-speed internet access. Grand Mercure Beijing Dongcheng also offers a wide range of local and international dining options from the 101 All Day Dining Restaurant, Chinese Restaurant, and Lobby Bar.
Meeting facilities include a pillarless ballroom that can accommodate more than 300 people, as well as seven multi-purpose function rooms equipped with the latest technology. Other guest facilities include the Executive Business Lounge, a modern and fully-equipped gym and sauna.
The hotel is situated next to Beixiqiao Station of Metro Line Five and easily accessible to Dongzhimen Airport Express Station. The central location offers easy access to a variety of local tourist attractions including world-famous historical sites such as the Forbidden City and the Yonghe Lama Temple, as well as commercial and business areas such as Wangfujing and China International Exhibition Center.
