Ritz-Carlton returns to Bali

Luxury Nusa Dua resort offers 313 rooms and villas

Ritz-Carlton has officially returned to Bali, with the opening of a new luxury resort in Nusa Dua.

The Ritz-Carlton Bali is set on 12.7 hectares of beachfront and cliff-top land in the south of the island, and offers 313 rooms, suites and villas.

One of the main features of the resort is a 70-metre-high glass elevator that provides guests with access to the beach.

F&B options at the resort include six restaurants and lounges. Bejana, the property’s soon-to-open Indonesian restaurant, will feature a cooking school, while the Beach Grill offers seafood and grilled dishes with views of the Indian Ocean. There is also a Japanese lounge, called Raku, an all-day dining restaurant and poolside tapas bar.

Leisure facilities at the Ritz-Carlton include a spa with 14 treatment rooms, a kids’ club and pool, while the resort also features an oceanfront wedding chapel and meeting facilities for up to 200 guests.

The new resort marks Ritz-Carlton’s return to Bali following a six year absence, after the former Ritz-Carlton Bali was rebranded as the Ayana. And the company plans to expand its presence on the island in future with the launch of its ultra luxury ‘Reserve’ concept in Ubud.
